Annie Bessette Biography
Annie is a skilled versatile artist that has gained experience in many artistic fields before becoming a professional makeup artist.
At age 15 she successfully sold all her dry pastels at Maison des Arts de Laval during a collective exposition.
Following the completion of an Arts diploma at Cegep de Vieux Montreal, circumstances brought Annie to work and learn with the leading Montreal cosmetic giant Cosmair, representin L’Oreal, Lancome, Biotherm, Clairol, and many more.
In need of change in her mid 20’s she went back to University to do a bi-disciplinary degree in French Studies and Linguistics with a plan to teach French Literature.
View Portfolio →Her new found passion in that field was significant but her fingers were itching for a more creative outlet and so she enrolled in the prestigious School of Makeup Art in Toronto to learn the highest level of makeup artistry, special effects makeup, soft prosthetic sculpting and molding as well as hair threading.
Returning home to Montreal, Annie was immediately recruited by Christian Dior.
She still works for Dior and does various freelance contracts and personal projects.
